    What is It About?

The story develops from the idyllic scene of holiday makers wandering along a Tasmanian beach to dealing with dying pilot whales and grappling with the dilemma of whether or not we should be saving beached whales. Through a staged story interspersed with probing questions students are guided to think more deeply about the issues that surround the topical problem of what humans should do when these intelligent marine mammals are facing death.
