Nationally Funded Study of Socially Responsible Science: 2009-2011


The Australian Research Council has announced a three-year Discovery Grant for a study entitled: “Sustainable Sustainability: Preparing Australia’s Future Citizens for Informed Decision-making through Socially Responsible Science Education.”

The research examines engagement of upper primary and lower secondary students in ethical dilemma based science and values learning, aimed at developing their skills as future decision makers who can respond effectively to national sustainability issues.
